Another Great Weekend

I had another great weekend with the I Heart Whitstable Team. It was a lovely sunny day. Here's a picture as always of my stall. 

And as always it looks just fab. I love seeing people smile as they look at the things I have made.

My picnic basket got a lot of attention. 

I'm looking forward to my next craft fair. That's on the 10th of May at Homewood School. I will put the poster on when I get it in the post.

Weekend

Hi all, hope you all had a great Easter. I did and had a nice break also. Normal service will resume here and more great projects are in the pipeline.

Picnic Anyone?

I'm feeling a lot better this week and the picnic basket is all finished. I've worked very hard to get it all done. And as always I think it looks just great. I made plates: 

Saucers,

With cups and a tea pot.

Also a lovely blanket to put it all on.

And it all fits in this lovely case I got. It's a one off and when its gone it's gone.

Picnic

A few weeks ago I came across this lovely pink spotty case. I've been thinking for a few weeks about what I can do with it. Now that Mothers Day is over and all my Easter things are done I've had time to think more on what to do with this cute case. 

It said two things to me. Ether a tea set or a picnic basket. So  I thought about putting the two together. This week with a head full of cold its been a little slow going but I made a start and will finish off the rest next week. 

Cake I thought would be a good place to start. I love cake and a play cake is the best kind of cake - it looks great and has no calories in it. What could be more fun. 

And of course no picnic would be complete with out a sandwich or two. I will next week be making plates, teapot and a blanket. All to go in this lovely case. 

I'm looking forward to seeing it all finished. It's going to look great. And seeing it go to a good home and know its going to be played with is a great feeling.

Mothers Day

I know it's over but it was Mothers Day at the weekend . Here's the 2 cards I made for both mums. They went down really well and I hope you like them to.
