Happy Christmas

Well its that time of year again. I've been busy this week making lots of different things. The first thing I was asked to make this week was a turkey. Our house group is doing a play this Sunday in church.  Our house group leader told me to make it pink. So here it is. I only had this pink in my felt collection. I hope he likes it.

I have to say I love it. It turned out much better then i thought it would. And in a strange way it looks super cute.

Then yesterday my husband comes home and said he is going to be a king for another church play. So asked me to make him an crown.

What fun I had making this. And what's more he loves it!

Then I get a phone call about an hour ago - would I make some brussels sprouts to go with the turkey.

So here they are, all done and making my turkey looking even more cute!

So that's it for this week, and I'm sad to say this year. So it's...

From me. Hope you have a good one whatever you do.

I look forward to the new year very much and all the great things it  holds.

Christmas Gifts

Christmas is getting closer with every day. And so my thoughts  have also been going that way. I have been making cards and gifts. Here's a picture for a card I cross stitched. I did do a few more but sadly I sent them out before taking a picture.

I love cross stitch and making my own cards with it makes a great gift.

I also made this for a friend of mine . We have been doing a craft day once a week for a few weeks now and its been great fun. So as a thank you I made here this .

I'm so pleased with the way it turned out.

I also made a wreath for my Nan.

I love this so much and I'm sure my Nan will also.

This is a great and simple idea.

But simple or not it looks just fab.

Don't forget I'm with the I heart Whitstable team this Sunday. Its so sad it will be my last of the year. But roll on next year with lots for fun things to be getting on with.

Can't wait. HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you all. Hope Santa gets you lots of lovely things.

Robins In The Snow

Thank goodness we don't have snow. But there is lots in the shops. So I got a bag of fake snow to help me make these

Robins in the snow. They are so cute and looks great. They will look so sweet on any Christmas tree. In any home.

The birds are the same size as the bird clips I made to go in your hair that have been very popular.

For now I only have six to sell on Sunday. I'm sure they will go fast. If you don't get yours this time round I will be making more. I know Christmas is not on peoples minds right now but it will soon be with us.

Don't forget I'm with the lovely people in Whitstable on Sunday.

I will be there with all my new makes. I hope to see you there also. If you see me and read my blog say hello as always.

Have a great weekend what ever you get up to and stay right here for next weeks Christmas makes.

Ho Ho Ho - Fairy Bells!

Well Christmas comes ever closer. So it's time to start thinking about what to make and buy. So I've had fun this week with more fairy bells with a good Christmas twist. As you know I love cross stitch and I'm now putting it on my work.

I found this lovely pattern and think it looks great.

A Christmas tree on a star what fun.

With the green fairy bells to give it that lovely Christmas look.

I will be making more lovely things for Christmas as the time ticks by and it gets ever closer.
